Tier 1 is 9 3/16 inches from the floor to the top of the tier. Tiers 2, 3 and 4 are at 27 3/16, 45 3/16 and 63 3/16 inches. Overall height is 65 3/16 inches.

Which lift works with the bottom tier?

Tier 1 sits below the lowest deck height of every AME lift. The AME POWER 1030-LPL low-profile lift (13-inch minimum) is intended for low-tier work. Manual lifts with a 20 1/2-inch minimum, including the H1000-M, cannot reach tier 1.

Does the 4-tier mortuary rack ship assembled?

No. It ships unassembled for a two-person, stack-together setup.

The 4-Tier Side-Loading Mortuary Rack, Model 2000-4TSL, stores four bodies on tiers that load from the 85" long side. Lengthwise rollers in two panels, split by a center divider, let trays roll sideways onto each tier. It suits coolers where racks sit parallel to the aisle.

Low-profile build. Every AME 4-tier rack places tier 1 at the very bottom of the frame (9 3/16" from the floor). We do not build a raised first tier on the 4-tier models.

Loading height notice

Tier 1 sits below the lowest deck height of every AME lift. The TITAN 1030-LPL low-profile lift (13" minimum) is the AME lift intended for low-tier work with this rack. Manual lifts with a 20 1/2" minimum, including the H1000-M, cannot reach tier 1. Measure and confirm transfer heights before ordering. Before you order

Cooler interior height clears the 65 3/16" posts plus the evaporator, lights and door header.
Floor space for 88 3/16" x 31" per rack, plus wall and evaporator clearance.
Leave a clear aisle along the loading side wide enough for the lift and tray to line up square with the rack.
Trays and boards are sold separately. TITAN 23" and 27" stainless trays fit the 28" inside width.
