What is the difference between scissor lift and column lift?
Scissor = folding X-frame, low collapsed profile, stable wide base. Column = vertical column with sliding platform, taller max height, smaller footprint. AMC's HD-1000-AA and HD-1000-M are scissor configurations.
Where are mortuary lifts used?
Prep room (cot → embalming table), visitation positioning, loading dock (casket → vehicle), morgue (cooler → autopsy table), crematory retort loading. Most funeral homes have at least one general lift plus a crematory loader if on-site.
